Mujia Textile weaves and finishes 100% cotton poplin on our own floor in Zhuji, Zhejiang, China, next to Keqiao. Two lines ship by the roll: solid dyed M60201 poplin — a fine plain weave finished to a soft, dry, lyocell-like handfeel, 100–140 GSM at 146 cm, dyed to 154 stock shades — and printed cotton poplin, covering a stocked 8135 rotary floral in six colorways plus an 18-design European digital library with no plate fees. MOQ 300 m per colour, free shade card and cuttings.
Both lines start from the same 100% cotton plain-weave base cloth, woven and finished on our production floor in Zhuji, directly next to Keqiao — the world's largest textile distribution hub. The difference is what happens after the greige.

M60201 is a 100% cotton poplin finished to a soft, dry handfeel that reads like lyocell without any cellulosic fibre in it. The full shade card runs 1 to 154 and every shade is stock — no dye lot wait, no pattern minimum. It presses crisply at a collar and still gathers at a cuff without bulk, which is why it works for shirt programmes as readily as for dresses.
Two print programmes on the same base cloth. The stocked 8135 is an elegant black floral on a cream ground, ready in six colorways. The European collection runs E01 to E18 — hyperreal florals, English garden rose, toile de Jouy, baroque damask, art deco — digitally printed so there are no rotary engraving or plate fees. Pick a design and colorway, or have us re-colour the artwork for your line.
We weave and finish cotton poplin on the same floor as our velvet and corduroy. One supplier, one QC standard, one trade relationship — and one place to consolidate a season across several fabric types.
Solid dyed poplin, printed poplin, velvet and cotton corduroy all produced in our own mill in Zhuji, directly next to Keqiao. No trading layer between you and the loom.
The M60201 card is dyed and in stock. You can build a colour range without a dye programme, and repeat orders match without a new dye lot.
The European digital library means you can take one design in several colorways — or re-colour existing artwork — without paying rotary engraving costs up front.
300 m per colour or colorway is the floor, and trial quantities are negotiable for a first development. Larger importers book container volumes on the same line.
Request the physical 154-colour shade card and cuttings before your first order. Swatch cards ship free, freight collect, so you judge the handfeel in your own hands.
Pre-production, mid-run and final inspection to AQL 2.5 under our own MTQS mill standard. Test reports supplied on request. Free third-party inspection for orders over $10,000.
Most buyers do not need to choose for long — the two lines solve different problems. If you want to read the full sourcing method, the cotton poplin buying guide walks through weight, meterage, lab dips and inspection in detail.
…your product is defined by silhouette and colour rather than by pattern. Shirting, uniforms, loungewear, kidswear, scarves. 154 shades means a whole range without a print development cycle, and 15-day repeats keep a replenishment programme honest.
…the print is the product. Dresses and blouses where the design sells the garment. Start from 8135 if you want a proven floral now; use the European library if you need a specific mood and want to re-colour without plate fees.
…you are building a coordinated collection. Same base cloth means the solids and the prints sit together with identical weight, drape and shrinkage — which is hard to achieve when you buy plain from one mill and print from another.
A plain-weave cloth woven from 100% cotton with a fine, tight, even sett and a slightly heavier weft than warp. That sett gives it the smooth matte face and the faint crispness on the bolt that buyers recognise. In shirt and dress weight it runs roughly 100 to 140 GSM at 146 cm. It presses flat, holds a collar stand, and drapes without lining at that width.
Same base cloth, two routes. Solid dyed M60201 is dyed to one of 154 stock shades — no print setup, no pattern minimum, about 15 days, FOB USD 1.75 to 1.98 per metre. Printed poplin is printed to a design: the stocked 8135 rotary floral in six colorways, or the 18-design European digital library, with no plate fees, about 10 days.
300 metres per colour or per colorway on both lines. For a first development we can discuss trial quantities below that — the point is to lower the cost of testing a shade or a print before you commit to a season. Custom shade matching also starts at 300 metres.
For solid dyed M60201 at 100 to 140 GSM and 146 cm, FOB is USD 1.75 to 1.98 per metre at 300 metres per colour. Deeper reactive shades and special finishing sit at the top of that band. Printed poplin is quoted per design and colorway on the data sheet with your inquiry.
Yes. Send a Pantone reference, a physical swatch or a lab-dip target and we dye against it in about 7 days. Once you approve the dip, bulk runs in 15 days at 300 metres minimum. On printed poplin we re-colour existing artwork to your reference with no plate fee on the European library.
Testing runs to AQL 2.5 on every bulk under our own MTQS mill standard. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is available on request through our certified upstream dyeing partners rather than held in our own name, and we supply the relevant test reports with the shipment. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.
Tell us the weight, the shade or the design, and the meterage. We will come back with a quote, a data sheet and a free shade card or strike-off.
