Inside the weaving floor at Mujia Textile

An uncut 55-second walkthrough of the mill in Zhuji, Zhejiang — Lenado air-jet looms running in production, filmed on an ordinary working day.

55 seconds · Filmed on site, Zhuji mill · October 2026

This is the whole point of buying factory-direct: you can see the room your fabric comes out of. The clip above is one continuous take, hand-held, shot on a normal working day — no studio, no stock footage, no cuts to hide an empty floor.

What you are looking at

Two parallel rows of Lenado air-jet looms, running in continuous production. Air-jet looms carry the weft across the shed with a jet of compressed air rather than a shuttle, which is why they run fast and hold a steady pick density on fine-count cotton and viscose work.

Partway through the clip you can see greige fabric being taken up on the cloth roll at the front of a loom — that is the fabric as it comes off the machine, before dyeing, before finishing, before anyone has touched it.

The looms

  • 30 Lenado air-jet looms in the weaving hall, arranged in two rows down the length of the building.
  • Set up for burnout (devoré) velvet, solid dyed stretch velvet and cotton corduroy — the three lines we run most.
  • Also running cotton poplin, double gauze, eyelet and linen blends depending on the season's order book.
  • An operator at the control panel mid-clip is adjusting pick density — the kind of correction that happens many times a shift.

Where this is

The mill sits at No. 5 Wencang Road, Fengqiao Town, Zhuji, Zhejiang — about 40 minutes from Keqiao, the textile distribution hub where our showroom is. Zhuji is a weaving town, not a trading town: most of the buildings around us are mills, dyehouses and finishing plants, which is why a problem on the loom gets fixed the same day instead of the same week.

Why we film it uncut

Buyers get sent a lot of polished reels that could have been shot anywhere. A single unedited take of a working floor is harder to fake, and it answers the question that actually matters before a first order: is there a real mill behind this email address, or a trading office with a website?

If you want to see a specific machine, a specific fabric running, or a specific stage of finishing, tell us what to point the camera at and we will film it.
